Baby Parker Has Arrived!!

What a wonderful week it has been! Parker Christian arrived at 8:02 a.m. on Sunday July 27th! He is so small compared to Tayler that I am actually getting the infant experience this time! He was 6 lbs. 14 oz. and 20 inches long. He is a beautiful little guy and we are thrilled to have him in our home. It is amazing how your heart just opens that much wider for these little ones to come into our home. I can't imagine life without him and already feel like he's been mine forever. n

Things have been SO much easier this time around. I can't even believe the difference between my first experience with labor and motherhood and this last week with Parker. He is a DREAM child! He has been so great about sleeping at night, waking every three hours for his meal and then heading off to dream land again. He never cries it seems... the only time he gets a little fussy is if I take too long changing his diaper... he likes to be clothed and warm apparently :). I feel completely normal already physically aside of weak muscles that haven't been worked out in several months, but other than that... I feel awesome. I couldn't sit normal for four weeks after I had Tayler, was constantly tired, and it took my body months to feel as good as I already do right now. It's been amazing and I am SO darn grateful!

Tayler is handling having baby Parker here fairly well. When Grandma Bitton was here we had some issues with her showing off and not obeying Mommy, but the last two days she has pretty much turned back into her happy self again. She is always wanting to help change diapers, bring jammies, or other tasks associated with "baby." She rarely calls him Parker yet just because Parker is associated with Mommy's tummy! She is such a fun little lady and is already becoming a great older sister.

Thanks for all the calls, the cute clothing and the love that we have felt from everyone!

Carrie - Congratulations! It has been so long! I saw Rachel Morris' blog on Jenny Spicer's and Rachel's led me to you.

I just scanned your posts and it looks like you're doing soooo well? So tell me everything - where do you live, (it sounds like you're heading to Bancroft soon?) what you've been doing these past couple years (other than popping out adorable children), etc. It would be so good to hear from you.

You'll have to check out our blog: or e-mail:

Talk to you soon!
