Hunter's done that before. In fact, he just saw this picture and said "Hunter did the eggs.... It's very naughty." He actually threw mine down the stairs. No fun to clean on carpet, which it looks like you had to do too.
Holy moly you have carpet in your kitchen?!?! I bet you have a cupboard full of stain remover :)
